Press On!
“Nothing in the world
can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not;
nothing is more common
than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not;
unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not;
the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone
are omnipotent.
The slogan ‘PRESS ON!’
has solved and always will solve
the problems of the human race.”~Calvin Coolidge
To all my fellow go-getters. Cheers and love from the war room.

and quitters never win.”
In addition, he founded WTBS, which pioneered the superstation concept in cable television. As a philanthropist, he is known for his $1 billion gift to support UN causes, which created the United Nations Foundation, a public charity to broaden support for the UN. Turner serves as Chairman of the United Nations Foundation board of directors.[3]

so you always have something to live for.”

the possibility of victory in the attack.”
Sun Wu, better known as Sun Tzu or Sunzi[1], was an ancient Chinese military general, strategist and philosopher who is traditionally believed, and who is most likely, to have authored the Art of War, an influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy.
“Opportunities multiply as they are seized.”
Sun Tzu has had a significant impact on Chinese and Asian history and culture, both as an author of the Art of War and through legend. During the 19th and 20th centuries, Sun Tzu’s Art of War grew in popularity and saw practical use in Western society, and his work has continued to influence both Asian and Western culture and politics.
“Secret operations are essential in war;
upon them the army relies to make its every move.”
Steve Jobs

He is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Apple Inc.[11] Jobs also previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney. He was credited in the 1995 movie Toy Story as an executive producer.[12]
“I was worth over $1,000,000 when I was 23, and over $10,000,000 when I was 24, and over $100,000,000 when I was 25, and it wasn’t that important because I never did it for the money.”
Mark Zuckerberg
“Move fast and break things.
Unless you are breaking stuff,
you are not moving fast enough.”
Mark Elliot Zuckerberg (born May 14, 1984[1]) is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur.[6] He is best known for creating the social networking site Facebook, of which he is chief executive and president. It was co-founded as a private company in 2004 by Zuckerberg and classmates Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, and Chris Hughes while they were students at Harvard University.[7][8] In 2010, Zuckerberg was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.[9] As of 2011, his personal wealth was estimated to be $13.5 billion.[5]

Trump’s extravagant lifestyle and outspoken manner have made him a celebrity for years, and more recently with his NBC reality show The Apprentice, where he serves as host and executive producer. In 2010, Trump expressed interest in becoming a candidate for President of the United States in 2012.[6][7] On May 16, 2011, he announced he would not run.[8] On May 23, he stated he has not completely ruled out running if no viable Republican Party candidate emerges.[9] In 2011, Trump ranked No. 17 on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list.[10]

Napoleon Bonaparte
“Great ambition is the passion of a great character.
Those endowed with it may perform
very good or very bad acts.
All depends on the principles which direct them.”
Napoleon Bonaparte (French: Napoléon Bonaparte [napoleɔ̃ bɔnɑpaʁt]; 15 August 1769 – 5 May 1821) was a French military and political leader during the latter stages of the French Revolution. As Napoleon I, he was Emperor of the French from 1804 to 1815. His legal reform, the Napoleonic code, has been a major influence on many civil law jurisdictions worldwide, but he is best remembered for his role in the wars led against France by a series of coalitions, the so-called Napoleonic Wars, during which he established hegemony over much of Europe and sought to spread revolutionary ideals. It was as a result of these wars, and his success in them, that he is generally regarded as one of the greatest military commanders of all time.
“I love power. But it is as an artist that I love it.
I love it as a musician loves his violin,
to draw out its sounds and chords and harmonies.”
Muhammad Ali
“I am the greatest,
I said that even before I knew I was.”
Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.; January 17, 1942) is an American former boxer and three-time World Heavyweight Champion. As an amateur, he won a gold medal in the light heavyweight division at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.[1] After turning professional, he went on to become the first and only boxer to win the lineal heavyweight championship three times.
“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.”
Leonardo da Vinci
“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.”
Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (
pronunciation (help·info)) (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) was an Italian Renaissance polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance Man, a man of “unquenchable curiosity” and “feverishly inventive imagination”.[1] He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.[2]
“It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”
According to art historian Helen Gardner, the scope and depth of his interests were without precedent and “his mind and personality seem to us superhuman, the man himself mysterious and remote”.[1] Marco Rosci points out, however, that while there is much speculation about Leonardo, his vision of the world is essentially logical rather than mysterious, and that the empirical methods he employed were unusual for his time.[3]
